Finalist for two National Awards
Kemps Chartered Accountants are pleased to have received short-listings for two national Awards: Tolley’s Taxation Awards Best Single Office Tax Practice 2020 and IRIS Customer Awards Small Practice of the Year 2020.
Tolley’s Taxation Awards recognize the finest achievements and talents of remarkable individuals and teams across the entire UK tax profession. They are marks of excellence within the tax profession and are sought-after by UK tax professionals, whether they work for multinational companies or in accountancy and law firms. Winning or being a short-listed finalist for a Tolley’s award brings prestige to any team and shows recognition from a first-class judging panel. Judges for The Best Single Office Tax Practice category were looking for evidence of an extra level of personal service and commitment offered to clients.
The IRIS Customer Awards celebrate excellence amongst IRIS customers. IRIS is one of the country’s largest accountancy, HR and educational management tools, with more than 110,000 users. The Small Practice of the Year in the accountancy category is judged by an expert panel to show exceptional growth, the highest professional standards and excellent client satisfaction.
Managing Director, Harry Kemp, said “We were extremely proud to be shortlisted for these awards. It recognizes the commitment of our team to providing great customer service and the best solutions for our clients. We would like to thank all our clients for their continued support”.
Kemps is an independent accountancy practice, established in 2003. It is based at 42A High Street, Broadstairs, moving to these larger premises above the old Lloyds Bank building in 2019 to accommodate the continuing growth of the practice. “We remain committed to Broadstairs and the wider Thanet community, and chose to remain in the High Street rather than move to an out of town location” said Harry Kemp. “We are pleased to support local charities through pro bono work, including Broadstairs & St Peters Chamber of Commerce, Broadstairs Dickens Festival, Broadstairs Folk Week, Broadstairs Visitors Information Group, Broadstairs Leisure and Tourism Association, Francis Forbes Barton Restoration and Preservation Society and Thanet Early Years Project. We also participate pro bono on the Thanet and East Kent Chamber of Trade Advisory Panel. We are corporate sponsors of Broadstairs Folk Week, and recently built a sponsored flower bed in Prospect Place by the Crofts Place Car Park”. Harry Kemp is a member of the Vegan Society.
